THE Borders has recorded 64 cases of coronavirus over the weekend, according to Scottish Government statistics.
Figures published at 2pm today (Monday, January 18) show that the region has recorded 29 cases in the last 24 hours - bringing the total since March to 2,411.
On Friday, the total was 2,347, meaning the weekend saw a rise of 64 cases.
The latest figures show the Borders has 38 people in hospital with confirmed COVID-19. On Friday, there were 41 in hospital.
There are now six people in the intensive care unit, which is one more than on Friday.
