THE Borders has recorded another 24 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to Scottish Government statistics.
Figures published at 2pm today (Thursday, January 21) show that the region has now recorded 2,473 cases of COVID-19 since March last year.
There are now eight people in the intensive care unit, up from seven yesterday.
A total of 1,636 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, across Scotland.
The national figure now stands at 168,219 since March.
