THE Borders recorded 35 coronavirus cases over the weekend, new figures show.
Scottish Government data published today (Monday, February 1) shows the increase since Friday.
On Friday, the region had recorded 2,614 cases since March, but the total is now 2,649.
So far in 2021, the Borders has recorded 995 cases of coronavirus.
According to the data released today by the Scottish Government, a total of 31 people are in hospital in the Borders with coronavirus, with fewer than five in the intensive care unit (ICU).
