THE Borders recorded 11 new cases of coronavirus in the latest 24-hour period, according to Scottish Government statistics.
Figures published at 2pm today (Wednesday, February 3) show the region has now recorded 2,666 cases of COVID-19 since March last year.
There are now 25 people with coronavirus in hospital, with fewer than five in the intensive care unit (ICU).
A total of 978 people have tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, across Scotland.
