TWO cases of coronavirus were recorded in the Borders over the last 24 hours, according to the latest figures.
The Scottish Government published updated case data at 2pm today (April 28).
It shows that the Borders has now recorded 2,886 cases of coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, two up from yesterday’s figure.
Scotland has now recorded 225,683 positive cases of the virus since March last year, according to the latest figures.
There remain fewer than five people in hospital in the region with the virus, the most recent data shows.
