A MAN has admitted a drug-dealing charge after being stopped with £80,000 worth of heroin in the Borders.
Police pulled over a van in Wood Street, Galashiels, on the afternoon of January 23 last year and recovered a large quantity of the Class A drug.
John Dickson, 35, from Coatbridge, pleaded guilty at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to being concerned in the supply of heroin.
The Crown accepted a not guilty plea to driving with no insurance.
Sentence was deferred for the production of background reports until May 24 and Dickson was granted bail.
