THE Borders recorded two new cases of coronavirus over the bank holiday weekend, according to Scottish Government figures.
The statistics, published at 2pm today (Tuesday, May 4) show 2,892 have tested positive with COVID-19 since March last year.
The total is two more than on Friday.
Scotland has recorded 226,644 cases of coronavirus since the pandemic began.
There are still fewer than five people in hospital with the virus in the Borders, the latest figures show.
