A BORDERS man will face a total of 50 charges including raping five different women when he stands trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
Ian Ramsay, 48, from Kelso, is alleged to have carried out the offences over a 30-year period.
A preliminary hearing last week was continued until June 4 with no trial date yet assigned.
Ramsay faces a variety of charges including seven assault and rapes, stalking, voyeurism, sending sexual communications without consent, threatening to disclose a photo of a person in an intimate position, sending sexual communications to children under 18 and 13, assault with intent to rape, domestic abuse involving a partner or ex-partner, vandalism, breach of the peace and five assaults.
He has pleaded not guilty and has been remanded in custody.
