The Borders recorded two new cases of coronavirus over the bank holiday weekend.
The Scottish Government released data at 2pm today (Tuesday, June 1).
The figures show that between May 28-31, the tally of all-time Borders cases rose from 2,913 to 2,915.
However, in the last 24 hours the Borders has recorded a further three positive cases – bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 2,918.
In the Borders there remains fewer than five people in hospital with the virus, and nationally there are 106 people in hospital.
Across Scotland there have been 236,389 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began in March 2020.
