THE deadline for 18 to 29-year-olds to sign up for a coronavirus vaccine has been extended.
Previously, the deadline for registration was Friday, June 4.
But NHS Borders says the cut-off has now been pushed back to Friday, June 11.
Those who register for a COVID-19 vaccine before the deadline will receive their appointment information by email or text.

Earlier this month, Nicola MacDonald, vaccination programme manager at NHS Borders, said signing up for a vaccine appointment “is particularly important for those who are planning to be away or have different term-time addresses to ensure they still get details of their appointment as soon as possible”.
“This is because letters will be sent out to where they are registered with a GP,” she added.
“I’d encourage all 18-29-year-olds to take up the registration offer before the deadline.”
Those who do not register will be sent their appointment details by letter “at a later date”, according to NHS Borders.
