THE Borders has recorded four new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, statistics show.
The Scottish Government published updated figures at 2pm today (June 8).
According to the statistics, the Borders has now recorded 2,955 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
Across Scotland, 241,864 cases of the virus have now been recorded since March last year.
Meanwhile, there are still fewer than five people in hospital with a recently confirmed case of COVID-19 in the Borders.
This has been the case for the entirety of March, April, May and June.
