A CORONAVIRUS vaccine drop-in clinic will open in the Borders for one day this weekend, the region’s health board has announced.
NHS Borders announced on Facebook that the facility – in the Borders Events Centre, Springwood Park, Kelso – will be offering the AstraZeneca jab on Saturday (June 12).
The drop-in clinic will be available to anyone aged 40 and over who has not yet had a first jab of a coronavirus vaccine.
It will also be open to those who have not had a second dose – as long as they received their first dose of AstraZeneca before April 6 and they have not received their second appointment letter (blue envelope).
Those two groups will be the only ones who can use the clinic, according to NHS Borders.
The facility is scheduled to run on Saturday between 9.30am-4.30pm.
