NHS Borders has confirmed which venues in the region will be offering coronavirus tests over the coming days.

The health board has been offering tests for people who are not showing symptoms for a number of weeks, mainly at fire stations.

And now the latest schedule has been announced.

Jedburgh and Newcastleton will both be offering COVID-19 tests at their respective fire stations today (Friday, June 11) – with tests at the former set to go ahead on Saturday as well.

Tests in Kelso’s and Peebles’ fire stations are scheduled for Monday (June 14) and Tuesday next week.

Sites are open from 10.30am to 3pm and appointments can be booked ahead of time by emailing ATS.Service@borders.scot.nhs.uk or calling 01896 826 370.

Meanwhile, test kits can also be picked up from Langlee Community Centre (Marigold Drive, Galashiels, TD1 2LP) from 3.30pm-8pm.

Alternatively, kits can be ordered online and delivered to your door.
