NHS Borders has announced that it will run an AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine drop-in clinic for the second consecutive Saturday.
The region’s health board welcomed certain groups to get a jab at the drop-in clinic last weekend.
And those 40 and over who have not yet had their first dose of a coronavirus vaccine are being urged to attend Kelso’s Borders Events Centre in Springwood Park again this Saturday (June 19).

Those who have had their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine before April 25 are also able to attend the clinic – even if you have already received details of your second appointment.
This marks a change from last weekend when only those who had not received their second appointment details could attend.
The clinic will be open on Saturday between 9.30am-4.30pm.
According to NHS Borders, people will be seen on a first come first served basis “so please be patient if you have to wait”.
