TEMPERATURES are set to rise in the Borders this weekend, according to forecasters.
Heat of up to 25°c is expected to be recorded in parts of the region.
In Peebles it’s predicted to reach 22°c by 3pm today (Saturday, July 17).

Meanwhile, Galashiels could see temperatures as high as 25°c today, say forecasters.
This is predicted to be the same further east of the Borders and towards the coast, with temperatures also potentially hitting 25°c.
Forecasters say that by Sunday there could be more cloud coverage over the region, however, temperatures will still remain over 20°c in most areas.
