THE Borders has recorded 49 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the latest figures.
At 2pm today (July 16), the Scottish Government published new data.
And the updated figures show the Borders has now seen 4,233 cases of COVID-19 since March last year.

There are now seven people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of the virus, according to the data.
There were eight people in hospital in the region yesterday.
Scotland has now recorded 325,335 cases of coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, the new figures show.
