THE Borders has recorded 27 new cases of coronavirus in the last day, new figures show.
Updated statistics on case numbers were published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (July 21).
According to the latest figures, the Borders has now recorded 4,363 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
There are seven people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of the virus. There were eight yesterday, according to the figures.
Scotland has now seen 334,141 coronavirus cases since March last year, the new data shows.
