BIGGAR Little Festival will return this month with two art events.

The Biggar Little Festival Street Art Exhibition and the Biggar Little Artists' Exhibition will showcase the artistic talents of local artists and schoolchildren.

The Street Art Exhibition will run from October 8-24 and features artwork, themed on Scottish myths and legends, from Biggar Nursery, Biggar Primary and the art and design department at Biggar High School.

They will be displayed in shop and business windows along the High Street.

And the Little Artists' Exhibition will run between October 22-24 at Loaningdale House.

The weekend event will showcase the work of artists from the area, which will feature paintings, sculptures, printmaking and ceramics.

Some will also be selling their works.

Visitors will also find examples of the Biggar Links community art trail on display.

Admission to the exhibition at Loaningdale House is free but the festival welcomes any donations.

Coronavirus guidelines will be in place at Loaningdale House.
