A BORDERS man has been ordered to be of good behaviour for the next six months after admitting threatening and abusive behaviour outside a woman's home.
Forty-one-year-old Paul Madden, of Hawick, pleaded guilty to shouting outside the property at Chay Blyth Place on February 22.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court said the female householder and witnesses who called the police did not know who he was.
Sheriff Peter Paterson deferred sentence until March 28, 2022, to allow Madden to demonstrate he can be of good behaviour.
