A 38-YEAR-OLD man involved in a bust-up with his partner has been banned from having any contact with her for the next two years.
Barry Charters, of Tweedbank, pleaded guilty to three counts of threatening or abusive behaviour earlier this year which resulted in a Non-Harassment Order being imposed.
He was also made the subject of a Community Pay Back Order at Selkirk Sheriff Court involving 15 months supervision.
Defence lawyer Mat Patrick said: "It was an unpleasant incident which marked the end of a long-term relationship."
