THE Borders has recorded 41 new cases of coronavirus in the last day, latest figures show.
According to Scottish Government data published at 2pm today (October 14), the Borders has now seen 8,185 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic.
The new figures show that there are currently 10 people in hospital with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the region – for the last three days this figure stood at eight.
Scotland has now recorded 599,837 cases of the virus since March last year, according to the latest data.
