A PEEBLESSHIRE dance school has been shortlisted for a top award for the fifth year in a row.
The Fiona Henderson School of Dance (FHSD) is in the running to be named Dance School of the Year.
The ceremony will be held later this month.
School principal Fiona Henderson said: “It is a real honour for FHSD to once again be recognised in these prestigious Dance School Awards.
"I am so proud of my teachers and all the hard work they put in week after week in providing great dance tuition to all our pupils – young and old.
"We love what we do it is a true privilege to be able to bring the joy of dance to all pupils – from our Baby Stars who start with us at 13 months through to all our adult pupils who get so much pleasure and well-being benefits from their weekly classes."
Finalists at this year's awards cover a range of dance genres, and come from schools from around the world including Australia, the USA, the UK, Bahrain, and India.
The FHSD now operates dance schools in eight locations, including: Peebles, Biggar, Moffat, Selkirk, Melrose, Galashiels, Hawick, and Jedburgh.
The Dance School of Year Awards will be held on October 29.
