THE Borders has recorded 36 new cases of coronavirus in the last day, latest figures show.
According to Scottish Government data published at 2pm today (October 26), the Borders has now seen 8,832 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic.
There are currently 13 people in the hospital in the Borders with confirmed cases of the virus – two more than yesterday.
Scotland has now recorded 629,849 cases of the virus since March last year, according to the latest data.
