AN INTERACTIVE Borders map shows the locations of new cases of coronavirus in the region.

The Borders is split into 30 neighbourhoods on the Public Health Scotland tool.

The map displays data from the period October 27-November 2.

According to the map, Burnfoot recorded the highest seven-day rate per 100,000 of 1,308.3 during that period.

Coldstream and Area recorded a case rate of 764.2, Hawick Central had a rate of 709.2, Hawick West End had a rate of 697.2, Berwickshire East reported a rate of 666.7, Hawick North recorded a rate of 657.3, Kelso North had a rate of 589.3, Jedburgh recorded a rate of 548.9, Cheviot East reported a case rate of 518.2, Galashiels South had a rate of 510.1, Kelso South recorded a rate of 508.9, and Denholm and Hermitage had a case rate of 416.4.

Sixteen areas recorded cases rates between 200-399 per 100,000.

These areas included: Langlee (393.2), Tweeddale West Area (388.5), Selkirk (381.6), St Boswells and Newtown and Area (368.6), Duns (358.8), Chirnside and Area (353.4), Berwickshire Central (335.4), Tweeddale East Area (260.5), Eyemouth (257.1), Earlston Stow and Clovenfords Area (236.2), Cheviot West (235.5), Galashiels West (234.3), Ettrick Yarrow and Lilliesleaf Area (218.1), Peebles South (210), Peebles North (209.7), and Melrose and Tweedbank Area (203.3).

Lauder and Area recorded a seven-day case rate between 100-199 per 100,000 of the population (192.7) and Galashiels North recorded a case rate of 186.3.
