THE Borders recorded four coronavirus-related deaths last week, new data shows.
The National Records of Scotland (NRS) published an update on November 10, covering the week November 1-7.
In the week prior to November 1 the region had recorded three deaths where coronavirus was listed on the death certificate.
The total number of deaths in the region stands at 91 this year and 195 since the start of the pandemic.
According to the NRS data, as at November 7 there have been a total of 11,818 deaths registered in Scotland where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
