Coronavirus
THE Borders has recorded 83 new cases of coronavirus in the last day, latest figures show.
According to Scottish Government data published at 2pm today (November 17), the Borders has now seen 10,293 cases of the virus since the start of the pandemic.
There are 29 people in the hospital in the Borders with confirmed cases of the virus – two more than yesterday.
Scotland has now recorded 691,939 cases of the virus since March last year, according to the latest data.
