AN INTERACTIVE Borders map shows which areas of the region have seen the most cases of coronavirus in recent days.

The Public Health Scotland tool also shows the seven-day case rate per 100,000 of the population.

The map – which breaks the Borders down into 30 neighbourhoods – displays data for the period November 14-20.

Out of the neighbourhoods, the map shows that the Earlston, Stow and Clovenfords area has recorded the highest number of cases with 30 over the seven-day period.

The area recorded a rate of 506.2 per 100,000, according to the map.

The neighbourhood with the highest seven-day case rate is Burnfoot at 570.3, with the area seeing 17 cases over the period.

At the other end of the scale, Jedburgh is the only area in the Borders to be listed in the lowest possible category after recording between 0-2 cases in that time.
