A NUMBER of roads remain closed after Storm Arwen hit the Borders this weekend.
Thousands of the region’s residents have spent nights without power following damage caused by the weather.
And Scottish Borders Council has confirmed that a number of routes are still affected.
Berwickshire
- B6404 - Charterhall - likely to remain closed for rest of week
- B6355 - Ayton to Eyemouth - likely to remain closed for rest of week
- D154/6 - Westloch Road, Coldingham - likely to remain closed for rest of week
- C100 - Edrom to Blanerne - likely to remain closed for rest of week
- Eyemouth - High Street - buildings issue
- Eyemouth - Victoria Road - likely to remain closed for rest of week
- Eyemouth - Paxton Terrace - buildings issue
- Eyemouth - Albert Road - buildings issue
- Off B6438 - Whitfield cottages - likely to remain closed for rest of week
Cheviot
- B6397 - Fans Farm/Yarlside - likely to remain closed for rest of week
Eildon
- D83/2 - Ashiesteel to Craigmyle - likely to remain closed for rest of week
Tweeddale
- C8 - Tweedsmuir to Talla - likely to remain closed for rest of week
On the closures, a council spokesperson said: “Some other very minor routes may also be affected.
“Please continue to drive with caution as even where trees have been cleared, there may be debris on/next to the road.”
