A LITERARY Christmas tree is the star attraction at Abbotsford, the home of Sir Walter Scott, this festive season.
To celebrate Christmas, the unique tree has been created in Scott's library and is made entirely from books and is decorated with lights.
And the rest of the house has been decorated for an 1820s Christmas.
As part of its winter celebrations, visitors to Abbotsford can also enjoy a festive themed audio guide which features a Christmas celebration as it would have been in Scott's day.
And youngsters can follow the children's trail, hunting down the Christmas characters around the house for a chance to win a prize.
Tickets for Abbotsford, the chapel and gardens are currently half price thanks to Visit Scotland’s Days Out Incentive Scheme.
