TOOLS have been stolen after a van was broken into at a car park in Peeblesshire, according to police.
Officers are appealing for witnesses in the area of the Old Mill car park, on Galashiels Road, Walkerburn, between Wednesday (February 2) and Monday (February 7).
A white Ford Transit van was targeted during the incident, with a quantity of tools stolen from within, say police.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “If you have any information relating to this crime please call 101 and quote incident number 0646 of February 7.
“Alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
