A UNIVERSITY student from Innerleithen found in possession of £140 worth of cannabis in the town's Hall Street has been ordered to be of good behaviour for the next 12 months.
Nineteen-year-old Akula Phillips pleaded guilty to being in possession of the class B drug on May 15 last year.
Police officers had been on routine patrol in the Victoria Park area when they came across the Edinburgh University geography student and another male.
Defence layer Ed Hulme said the drugs were for his client's personal use.
