MAJOR resurfacing and patching work is taking place in Galashiels this week.
Tweed Road and Winston Road in Galashiels will be closed from Netherdale Brae to Woodstock Avenue between 8.30am and 4.30pm each day this week.
The work started on Monday May 16 and will continue for five days.
Alternative suggested route: Eastbound - via Tweed Road, Abbotsford Road, Braw Lads Brae, George Craig Bridge, Currie Road, Melrose Road and Winston Road to point of closure.
Westbound vehicles should take the above route in reverse.
