A BORDERS-THEMED gift range can now be found in four local charity shops.

The range of gifts are available in the Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland shops in Kelso, Melrose, Hawick and Galashiels.

The new gifts include mugs, coasters, magnets, notebooks and cotton shopper bags all featuring Borders Tartan and a map of the Borders featuring the names of towns and villages in the region.

Carole Edmonds, head of retail at Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, said: “We’re delighted to bring this exclusive gift range to our stores in the Borders."

The range was produced by Scottish company DTP Southfield.

There are more than 42,500 people in the Borders living chest, heart and stroke conditions.

Money raised by the charity shops goes towards Hospital to Home services – supporting people to live their lives to the fullest.
