GALA week in Biggar is now over for another year and the town showed out for the celebrations.
The week began with the investiture of the Cornet and Fleming Queen and ride out on Sunday, June 12.
There was then the family funday, which included the pet show and slippy slide.
And on Wednesday, June 15 young riders took part in the Biggar Junior Ride Out from Biggar Showfield.
The annual duck race also returned on Wednesday saw more than 1,000 rubber ducks 'swim' down the Biggar Burn.
Saturday saw the long awaited return of Gala Day.
Fleming Queen Kelsie Brotherstone was crowned with her Court by her side.
After the procession to the War Memorial where Kelsie laid her bouquet, the Gala Day celebrations continued at the showfield with the races, open mic, crafts, and fancy dress.
A spokesperson from the Biggar Gala Week committee said: "A big thank you to our local community and businesses for all your help and participation in this last week.
"It's great to be back!
"To our Fleming Queen and Court we hope you have had the best week!!!
"And lastly but certainly not least to the dedicated committee members who volunteer their own free time to make this happen every year: Faye Corrigan , Scott Brotherstone, CJ Brown, Joanna McMinn, John Scott, Neil Paynter, Ashley Kane, Wendy Carrick, Helen Lambie, David Aitken, Michael Allen, Alan Bartholomew, Fraser McNair, Jimmy Ritchie, Euan Sanderson, James Tawse.
"And the rest of the Biggar Cornets Club."
