A 53-YEAR-OLD man has been remanded in custody after admitting three housebreaking offences in Hawick.
Patrick Loyden, who gave an address in Hawick, also pleaded guilty to a charge of theft by opening a lockfast place with intent to steal and also breaching his bail conditions.
He had been due to face trial by jury on a total of nine charges at Edinburgh Sheriff Court but pleaded guilty to five charges.
Loyden will appear for sentence on August 18 in front of Sheriff Frank Crowe.
