TWO men and a woman were taken to hospital following a crash on the A701 near Leadburn north of Peebles yesterday Monday October 10.
Emergency services raced to the scene shortly after 3.30pm.
The crash involved a lorry and a car.
A 34-year-old woman and two men, aged 34 and 39, were taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
The road was closed for over two hours to allow vehicle recovery to take place and traffic built back in both directions.
The road reopened around 5.50pm.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.35pm on Monday, 11 October, 2022, officers were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a car and a lorry on the A701 at Leadburn.
“A 34-year-old woman and two men, aged 34 and 39, were taken by ambulance to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“The road was closed to allow vehicle recovery to take place and fully reopened around 5.50pm.”
