EDINBURGH based eight-piece band Funkdozer will be coming to the MacArts Theatre in Bridge Street Galashiels on Friday November 11 2022 playing an inspired combination of Funk, Soul, Jazz, Gospel, Blues and Afrobeat.
With several lead vocalists, diverse instrumentation, and tunes old, new, borrowed, and blue(s), road-tested to work the dance floor, Funkdozer are a highly adaptable unit that love to play together, with a palpable sense of mischief, fun and joy to spark any audience, any time, any place, anywhere.
The band will be supported by Nicole Cassandra Smit who is something of a rising star in the Scottish music scene.
Initially past of the Blueswater ensemble, presenting sell out shows at the Edinburgh Festival since 2014, her sultry take on Jazz and Blues has culminated with the release of het own self-written album earlier this year
