INNERLEITHEN was filled with festive spirit last week as the Christmas lights were switched on.
The town was illuminated on Saturday, December 3 as Switched On Saturday returned once again, thanks to the Innerleithen Civic Association.
The displays helped the town sparkle as crowds enjoyed shopping with local retailers and musical entertainment from St Ronan’s Silver Band, Tweedvale Pipe Band, and local performers at St Ronan’s Hotel.
Organisers said: “Massive thanks to everyone who turned out yesterday for our big switch-on.
“Sales of our calendar are going great and you can now buy this at the Premier Shop at Caddon Court along with the various other outlets along the High Street.
“We are still looking for donations to allow us to continue building on our display.”
