BORDERERS have woken up to a blanket of snow this morning and Traffic Scotland are warning drivers to use caution.
Multiple drivers on the A68 - Lauder to Soutra road have reported struggling with weather conditions.
The A68 A699 St Boswells – B6400 Ancrum (northbound) is currently restricted northbound near Lilliardsedge due to a hazard on the carriageway.
Many side roads and pavements remain ungritted - with up to ten centimetres forecast to fall in some areas.
Anyone thinking of heading out and about this morning is being advised to take extra care.
A Yellow weather warning for ice and snow remains in place until midday today.
