THE A72 is currently closed at Dirtpot Corner due to flooding.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Motorists are advised that the A72 is closed in both directions at Cardrona (Dirtpot Corner) due to heavy flooding on the road.
“Traffic is being diverted via the A7, and we remind the public to only travel if necessary, and to drive according to the conditions.”
Borders Buses said its X62 service from Galashiels to Peebles is only running to Innerleithen.
