SCOTLAND’S capital has thrown its weight behind Doddie Aid, hoisting the Team Edinburgh flag high above City Chambers.
The flag was raised on Monday January 16 2023 and will remain there for the next four weeks.
Both Mark Beaumont and the Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh Robert Aldridge spoke about the importance of Doddie Aid and the work of My Name'5 Doddie Foundation and urged people to get involved (ideally in Team Edinburgh).

The setting was made even more fitting by being the site of Doddie's giant hand prints set in the concrete in the quadrangle from when he received the Edinburgh Award back in 2018.
The My Name’5 Doddie Foundation would like to thank Mark and the Lord Provost for their support, Richard Ellis for organising the raising of the flag, and Alan Simpson for taking the photos.

Meanwhile North and Midland top the Doddie Aid leader board with 365,272 miles slightly ahead of Team South who are on 336,834 miles.
In total the six teams and their 36,804 members have racked up an incredible 1,566,638 miles between them
