BORDERS Women's Aid (BWA) has launched a new website.

The BWA website is a resource for women affected by domestic abuse, as well as funders and partner organisations.

The new website reflects how BWA has grown over the years.

There is now easier access to the services offered by BWA for women impacted by domestic abuse.

Carol Walker, service manager with BWA, said: "We are delighted to launch the new BWA website.

"Our aim was to create an effective, accessible, inclusive resource for women who need us, survivors and professionals.

"The new website is user-friendly and includes a wealth of useful information about domestic abuse as well as our contact details and ways you can support the charity."

The site is also a valuable resource for professionals and those looking to understand the impact of domestic abuse in the Borders community.

Blog posts from BWA and the latest news from the organisation are also available on the website, discussing current issues and raising awareness.

The new website was developed by FuzzyLime, and was designed by Vivienne Seeley of ViVid Design Consultancy.

A BWA spokesperson added: "We would like to thank all of those who have worked with us to develop and launch this resource, which was made possible by support from Scottish Women’s Aid and Charities Aid Foundation."
