This year's tournament marks the latest in a deal between ITV and the BBC that sees Six Nations matches shared between both broadcasters on television and online.

Leading ITV’s team will be presenters Mark Pougatch and Borderer Jill Douglas.

The pair will be joined by former Scotland and Lions coach Sir Ian McGeechan, former Scottish international Jim Hamilton, Jonny Wilkinson and Lawrence Dallaglio, members of England’s victorious Rugby World Cup 2003 team, along with their coach Sir Clive Woodward and England Women World Cup winner Maggie Alphonsi.

Also appearing throughout the tournament will be  former Ireland captain Brian O’Driscoll, fellow former Irish skipper Rory Best, former Wales captain Gareth Thomas, Welsh legend Jamie Roberts, , Australia's most-capped player George Gregan, and former French forward Benjamin Kayser.

Last year’s Calcutta Cup match saw the Scots run out 20-17 winners in Edinburgh, the first time they had beaten England two years in a row since 1983-84.
