A SELKIRK woman has been fined £200 at the town’s sheriff court after sending an offensive message to a former partner.
Thirty-three-year-old Maxine Rees pleaded guilty to sending a voicemail to the man which contained shouting and swearing and threatening or abusive remarks.
The offence happened at a house in Eastfield Park, Selkirk, on October 27.
In addition to the fine she was ordered to pay a £10 Victim Surcharge and a Non-Harassment Order for two years was imposed preventing her from having any contact with her former partner.
