A 36-year-old woman has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged road traffic offences following a crash on the A701 this afternoon.
The two vehicle crash took place on the A701/A6094, between Peebles and Penicuik at the Leadburn Junction.
Emergency services were called to the scene around 12.50pm.

Officers directed traffic and several people took to social media to advise drivers to avoid the area due to the disruption.
Neither driver required hospital treatment and the road is now running normally.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.50 pm on Friday, 31 March 2023, police were called to a two-vehicle road crash on the A701/A6094, Leadburn Junction at Leadburn.
“Neither driver required hospital treatment.
“A 36-year-old woman is the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged road traffic offences.
"The road is now open."
