THE Scottish Hill Rally will take place on June 17th-18th at Thirlestane Castle, Lauder

The rally's route, which spans a minimum of 58 stage miles and just over 84 road miles, is contained within the picturesque areas of Lauder, Stow, and Galashiels.

The rally concludes on Sunday and coincides with the BVAC Classic at Thirlestane Castle, a Festival of Motoring.

Ahead of the event, organisers have announced its partnership with The Country Food Trust, a registered charity that provides free, nutritious high protein meals to people experiencing food poverty.

With over 13.1 million people in the UK facing food poverty, The Country Food Trust is focuses on providing high protein, low-fat meals to those in need. Their current menu includes; pheasant curry, venison bolognese, and pheasant casserole, supplied in 300g retort pouches and 2kg catering packs, both with a shelf life of one year from manufacturing and no refrigeration required.

Additionally, the charity donates frozen meat to charities with cooking facilities, enabling them to create nutritious meals and teach beneficiaries about healthy eating, as well as community kitchens that provide free hot meals within the community.

Since its inception in 2015, The Country Food Trust has donated over 2.8 million meals to people in need, and the Scottish Hill Rally provides an excellent platform to raise awareness of their work.
