POLICE are appealing for information following break-ins and thefts in the Biggar and Lanark areas.
The first incident happened in River View, Lanark at 2.50pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.
Three men broke into a property and stole various jewellery and designer goods items. They left in small white hatchback-style vehicle towards Carstairs.
The second incident happened on Station Road, Biggar, between 11.30pm on Sunday, April 9, and 1.30am on Monday, April 10, 2023.
Two men broke into a property and stole various items, including jewellery and a blue BMW. The car was recovered in the Penicuik area of Midlothian a short time later.

The men left in the direction of Biggar Main Street in small white hatchback style vehicle.
Detective Constable Sarah Wardlaw of CID said: “Enquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible for both incidents.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a small white hatchback-style vehicle around the time of the incidents.

“I would appeal to motorists with dash-cam footage to get in touch, you may have captured something that could assist our enquiries.”
