BIG names in the world of music are coming to the Borders this year to join a new festival.

Originally planned for 2020 but scuppered by the coronavirus pandemic, Edge Fest at Lilliardsedge, near Jedburgh, will now get the chance to welcome guests to celebrate the end of summer and enjoy some amazing acts.

Headliners at the weekend-long festival will include Billy Ocean on Saturday, September 2 and Wet Wet Wet on Sunday (September 3).

Company director Stuart Macdonald said: “We were so disappointed that we were unable to host the event after its launch in 2020 due to the pandemic, however we are determined to come back bigger and better in 2023.

"We’ve expanded the event to now include two full days of live music, DJ’s and activities for kids with weekend camping, luxury accommodation and touring caravan pitches available.

"We’re beyond excited to be bringing some huge artists to our Victory Stage this year and we are really looking forward to welcoming the public to our most anticipated event to date."

Former X-Factor contestant and chart-topper Ella Henderson will join Saturday's lineup, alongside Peat and Diesel, Heather Small, and Callum Beatie.

Then on Sunday, the day will feature performances by 90s favourite Gabrielle, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Skerryvore.

Edge Fest will be held within the grounds of Lilliardsedge Holiday Park.

In addition to the amazing musical acts, the festival will also have market stalls, a silent disco, fairground rides, and plenty of food and drink options.

Tickets for the whole weekend are £35 for children aged 5-15 years old, and £98 for adults.

Tickets are also available for individual days, and guests can also add on campsite entry, parking or shuttle bus access.
