SHOPPERS and tourists in Peebles were entertained earlier this month by a 15-year-old accordionist tinkling the ivories to raise funds for Tweeddale Rideability Group.
Peebles High School musician Jamie Webster, from near Eddleston, played in Eastgate to collect cash for the charity which is part of Riding for the Disabled.
The Tweeddale Group was formed in 1984 to offer riding to those who would benefit from its therapy, achievement and enjoyment.
In 2016 the Group, based at Crookston Farm, Peebles, just past Cademuir Hill on the back road, became a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
There are riding sessions on Saturdays and Mondays and the summer term runs from April 15 to Monday, June 26.
