A POWER cut is currently affecting the TD11 area of the Scottish Borders.
Power company SP Energy said that they had no advance warning and first became aware at 6.25pm tonight Thrsday April 20.
Engineers have been deployed and it is expected that power will be restored by 8.30pm

A spokesperson for SP Energy at 6,37pm said: “There is a power cut affecting the TD11 postcode area of Duns.
“Our engineers are enroute to find and fix the fault as quickly and as safely as possible.
“We expect your electricity supply to be restored by 8:30pm.

“We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience”.
UPDATE: Power has now been restored
A short power cut also took place in Galashiels this morning around 7.30am.
